As a Spirit Art Messenger and a Jungian oriented Spiritualist, the world of symbolism is my main territory. I have been doing Spirit Message Art readings for a while now.

And in my Spiritual quest for new techniques I came across Ethel Johnson’s technique “Draw Me A Tree”.  Many psychologists have used a similar technique, much like today’s Art Therapists.

I remember my father while he was training me in ESP;  had a friend from Zurich or Sweden who interpreted tree drawings for both adults and children do a reading for me.  I was child in Ethiopia when he tested me and confirmed my father’s thought that I was gifted in paranormal activities.  My family did not keep the drawing, but I did find results from my father’s ESP testing. I am blessed that my parents have always kept me level headed, and making sure that I understand free will.

"Draw Me A Tree" Interpretations of  the tree drawings has a long history in psychology, and more recently, both in mentalist and magician acts over the years. These drawings of trees in particular can yield astonishing diagnostic information about a person.

Many objects and symbols appear in one's Draw Me A Tree, these symbols often lead us directly to the information we seek, like new homes, new loves, or new jobs. At other times, our higher self uses these images to challenge us to follow the mystic of our unfolding spiritual journey. Also, signs/symbols come to us when we become aware through casual conversations, meditations, songs, gifts, dreams, animals that cross our paths, and even in  Spirit Art Messages like TREE DRAWINGS.  Edgar Cayce suggested that we utilize symbols to measure our spiritual growth, and Carl Jung created a psychology based on it.

After doing research on Ethel Johnson ,I came across Rudy Hunter’s DVD technique. Mr. Hunter is a nationally know mentalist and his “Draw Me A Tree” DVD is psychology based, very informative and works. |
 I enjoyed his DVD very much.

I realized that "Draw Me A Tree" tree drawing is a universal language and requires no artistic ability. You may think I’ve lost my mind, but in reading the 1950’s book from Ethel Johnson, “Draw Me A Tree”,  Andrews McMeel Publisher, in which she developed a fun way to describe peoples’ personalities using a simple tree drawing. Her system is similar to handwriting analysis, but it is much less complex and is easy to learn.
